A Holiday Gift Guide For All The Hard-To-Shop-For People

It’s that time of the year again! When we’re a day from Thanksgiving and the bustle and bustle of the holiday season is fast approaching. People are driving a little crazier, there’s holiday music in the air, and there’s a batch of hot cocoa in our slow cookers.
In 2017 I wanted to do a little something I haven’t done before, and that’s sharing a holiday gift guide. I hope that it will help you with all the hard-to-shop-for people in your life. Then there’s also the perk of ordering it with just one click, (thank you Amazon Prime). Why would you bother getting dressed and braving the stores? And those lines – no joke, they give me terrible anxiety.
Also, a mug of coffee, a little holiday music on in the background, and a virtual cart full of presents for everyone in your life. How did I even survive before online shopping?

So without further ado, let’s get started:
1. FOR THE CHEMIST:
LOVE MY CHEMEX. I was a french press girl until earlier this year, and now, I’ll never go back. Coffee made pour-over style is smoother and doesn’t have any of the sharp spikes you find with coffee made in traditional machines or percolators. 2. FOR THE ENTERTAINER:
Whether your entertainer usually hosts small or intimate get-togethers or large soirees, this marble and wood cheeseboard is the perfect gift. It’s the ideal size to put out cheese, fruit, and crackers, and jams.

3. FOR THE TRAVELER:
Enamelware is all the rage! These mugs are perfect for the camper, or anyone that loves a warm cup of something. Comes separately or as a set of two. Available in different colors, matching bowl/plate, and stovetop coffee maker.

4. FOR THE STEW/POT ROAST/ SOUP MAKER:
I know! I recommend this one all the time. Have it. Love it. Can’t live without it. So I have to put it on the holiday gift guide!
5. FOR THE HYDRATOR:
A chic, matte black water bottle that’s shatterproof? YES PLEASE! If you know someone who’s always gulping bottles of water, is a gym buff or a runner, or just want someone to drink more water, this is the gift to get. 7. FOR THE ONE THAT ALWAYS HAS A WARM MUG:
Cute, stylish, GLASS coffee cup? SIGN ME UP. I’ve been saying for years that coffee tastes better out of a glass cup rather than metal. Comes in 3 sizes and 3 colors.

8. FOR THE DECORATOR:
The perfect trio for the person that likes to decorate! These succulent planters are excellent to use in the house or the office.

9. FOR THE ONE THAT ALWAYS WANTS TO KNOW WHY? AND HOW?
As someone who went to school for Human Nutrition and Food, this is my favorite cooking book. It teaches you when and where to apply the proper ingredients and cooking techniques to help you rely less on recipes and more on your own intuition. I savored this book nice and slowly. I originally purchased a kindle version but think I’ll also get a hard copy to keep around! The author has a great, casual writing style, and tons of illustrations! One I’ll refer back to again and again.
10. FOR THE PLANT OBSESSED:
A nice stylish way to get your plants off the table and onto the wall. Sold as a set of two.

11. FOR THE ONE THAT NEEDS TO PRACTICE THEIR BREATHING EXERCISES:
Under $20 and one of my favorite gadgets! I keep one next to my bed, and as a nightly routine, I love adding essential oils to it. Then, just sit back, read a book, and listen to some calming music. It’s honestly the BEST way to unwind from a hectic day!

12. FOR THE PLANNER:
Just bought me one of these and totally in love with it! This is a monthly planner with tons of pages in the back for notes and such. It starts in November and runs through the end of December 2018 so technically, whoever you gift this to can start using it right away. Comes in 4 different colors.

13. FOR THE SCENTED CANDLE FANATIC:

Can’t say enough about this one! We purchased the pullover version for my sister for her birthday last year and it’s so nice and cozy that I wish I had just bought one for myself too. I personally like the vest a little more than the pullover because you can dress it up or down. Great to wear with jeans and a buffalo check shirt! Comes in 3 different colors.

These loafer mules are super in this year. I bought myself two pairs (in two different colors) and they are my go-to shoes. Wear them with jeans or slacks, perfect for work and perfect for casual wear! They come in 14 different colors so you can choose just the right shade for that special person.

19. FOR THE LOVE OF CUTE PET CARRIERS:
TBH this one made me laugh a little. It’s cute, practical, and perfect for the girl that needs to get her pet around. It a backpack so you can just strap it on and go. I’d get this for my sis-in-law and her cat!
20. FOR THE PRACTICAL GAL:

When in doubt, go neutral. And this little slouchy beanie is great quality and perfect for that friend you need a gift for under $15. It comes in a variety of colors so there’s something for everyone here. And yes, there are a couple without the fluffy pompom at the top too, although — who wouldn’t want that?

23. FOR THE LOVE OF HOLIDAY MUSIC:
I’ve got this little item on my wishlist! Coming from someone who’s always listening to murder podcasts and music in the kitchen or at my desk, this is a must-have. I’ve tested this out in stores and have sent many hints to hubsy dearest so I’m hoping to find this one under my tree too!

24. FOR THE COFFEE ENTHUSIAST:
Fine ground? Medium or coarse? If you’ve got someone (or even a couple) that loves coffee, this is the perfect give. A burr grinder is so much better than your run-of-the-mill grinders because it breaks the beans down into the perfect grind for your coffee maker.

This one is on the hubby’s list. A smart thermostat is perfect for anyone and everyone that has ever woken up in the middle of the night wishing to crank up the heat but can’t bear the thought of getting out of bed. For the lazy, the forgetful and everyone in between.

I bought my kindle almost a year ago and I am obsessed! I never thought I’d be the person that would want to read on an e-reader, I mean where do you highlight and make your notes? But I have to admit, the ease of sliding this thin little unit into your carry on bag and having tons of books to choose from really has won me over.

Okay, this one really doesn’t need a description. I mean, I use it at least once a week and just the other day I shared how to make a cheesecake in the instant pot. I own one, I recommend it to everyone that asks me if I like mine, and I’ve got this on the list to purchase for my mom this year!

Shout out to the go-to camera person. Instant film cameras are the perfect gift to share with those that love taking and keeping pictures. And certainly not just for the guys. Comes in two different colors (brown and black).
